Working at the game store has made me realize that there are a lot of things that i want

Since airxwar&nbsp;asked, I am going to tell you all a little bit about my day...and the new job.

anyway, yesterday at work two was horrible, I spent 6 hours just putting video games in order and pricing them only to find out that I priced all of them wrong when the manager got a call from our distract manager  that said we are starting to do it a new way..and it goes into effect on that day...so I had to retreat back into the cave and reprice everything.

I realize that I need to get better shoes if I am going to have to be standing up for 6 hours at a time.
My docs are killing my feet.

Other then that I am not sure if I like my new job because, well it's really all about getting sales.  Like they want use to sale games even if we know they are bad games, the better numbers we get, the more hours we get.  Yup, we have quotas about things...like we have to have so many people preorder this game, and we have to have so many people get on the MVP card...sell them game insurance. Blah. If you have an MVP card, you get discounts on games and you get better prices on your trade ins, so it is a good thing to have, BUT I was totally disgusted when I watched my manager sell an MVP card to ever kid in one family. There were 4 kids and even though if you get one card, the whole family can use it, my manager didn't tell the mother of the kids that, so she ended up getting each kid one...thats 10 bucks a pop...resulting 40 bucks PLUS whatever the price of their video games...

I would have never done that and I probably won't ever.

Over all though, after the manager left, things went well, I got to talk to the other workers and just hang out.

The only real problem is that Work Two decided to schedule me when I have Work One...and I dont know what I am going to do...I talked to the manager...and told her that I wasnt able to work though hours, but she told me that she hired me because she thought that I could work afternoons on those days, even though I sent her a copy of Work ones scheduling that NEVER EVER changes...they make it for a Year at a time....wont change again till Jan. 

I have been having trouble sleeping
I have been trying to sleep since about 1am last night
and for some reason my brain just wont turn off
So now it is time for work
and i find myself with no sleep...
blah I wanna call in just to try to sleep
but sometimes i feel like I am the only person that ever comes into work on time and all the time when they need me.
I get out at noon
hopefully then
I can come home and try to get some sleep...
Its not like I was thinking of anything  really
just random things that would scare me
or things that would like cause me to think about them for a while until they could fade.

I hate this.
I want to be normal.

When a relationships with a disordered person ends, it leaves you in an emotional tailspin that leaves you second guessing yourself for a long time. It wasn't you, trust me. He would have done it to ANYONE he was dating. A normal person has empathy, a NPD/BPD/HPD has none. They incapable of intimacy. Check out the posts on psychforums for these 3 disorders, see if any of their stories ring a bell. Good luck. And remember, you could have done nothing to have held on to him, he's hardwired to fail.


Have some respect for yourself. It's over, right now he has no interest in you and it's not likely for him to suddenly start anytime soon. You shouldn't be giving somebody so much respect and love when it's not reciprocated, it's disrespectful to yourself. Save those feelings for somebody who will give them back to you.
